As founder and managing director I am focused on the overarching business vision and supporting the team’s deliverables, ensuring they are living and breathing the wider cultural commitment within the businesses vision. With a determination and focus on providing industry leading practices, paired with technological advances within the construction sector, I collaborate with industry bodies and chartered practitioners to ensure we remain at the forefront of our businesses commitment to improvement. Possessing a wealth of building services knowledge and a natural instinct and passion for the built environment, developing a construction and property services business has been a lifelong ambition and aspiration.

Outside of work I proudly lead a local group within the Scouts Association, along with my wife who’s also actively involved and have a fondness for golf, the great outdoors, windsurfing and running, all in-between my love for my 5 children, grandchildren and 3 dogs!

A Commercial Director with over 25 years leading and developing teams. Maintaining a core focus on business culture, we attract, recruit and develop those in the business to create thriving teams, where collaboration, support and focus are core behavioural characteristics, that have ensured At Home Services achieve year on year annual growth. Following a successful career in the commercial property sector for 15 years, it was a natural next step to assume and lead the strategic commercial direction of our business, where service excellence are of paramount importance. With a natural interest within the built environment, both commercially and domestically, I am focused in identifying opportunities where we can provide tangible value. I’ve held a childhood dream to build our own business and a business to be proud of and call home. Here we are!

Outside of work my partner and I have two girls and a golden doodle, where we are active members of the Camberdoodle walkers group! You can also find me immersed in our garden. I’ve a love for climbing and hiking the mountains around the UK and where possible when time permits love running.

I joined At Home Services as Operations Manager in January 2024. Graduating in 2021 with a degree in History and Politics, I went on to work in the Civil Service and financial services industry before entering the building and construction sector for the first time when coming on board here. I have a fierce desire to help lead this company towards further success and growth, redefining what it means to be a building contractor in our modern world. Avid football fan and Crystal Palace supporter as well as having a passion for politics and international relations. When I am not at work I enjoy travelling and attending music events with my partner.

Having known and worked with Darren for some 20+ years, we shared the common interest with setting up At Home Services, back in 2017, albeit we have grown significantly since then. I guess I was pivotal at the formation of the business and supported Darren with everything back office related. A full time wheelchair user and advocate for the disability confident scheme and feel I have helped to contribute to the direction and culture within the business. A firm believer that my wheelchair doesn’t stop me from doing most things! Possessing a background in repairs and maintenance within the social housing sector, for more than 20 years, has helped to shape my broad understanding of contracts and buildings.

Outside of work I enjoy time with my new Jack Russell, spending time with my aviary and watching most sports. A keen Liverpool supporter.

I joined At Home Services in May 2021, assuming the role of site manager, after working as a site manager for another local building contractor. A Carpenter by trade, with more than 40 years experience and knowledge. I have a deep and broad understanding of buildings cultivated by working for and with large national house builders across the full width and breadth of the United Kingdom and abroad. As an SMSTS accredited site manager, I was approached by At Home Services following a period of growth and have enjoyed leading the site teams and site initiatives. Outside of work I retain my love of the outdoors and enjoy being creative and hold a lifelong passion for fishing and Koi Carp. I’m thoroughly committed to my family and enjoy spending time socialising and making memories.

Having been in the construction industry on and off for more than 20 years. A Carpenter by trade, however adept in most trade skills with extensive knowledge of plumbing too. I’m used to building and leading teams and taking responsibility for the demands of work, having led 6 teams building log cabins. I’m always keen to make a difference and enjoy adding positivity to the teams and sites. Outside of work I am a massive fan of the rock group Queen and a big supporter of Ipswich Town football club.

Jon successfully completed his NSWRA Accreditation in 2025 and is now a qualified NSWRA Supervisor.

Dean W joined us in August 2024 as a Multi Trade Operative with a strong skill set in carpentry. Proud father and lover of paddleboarding and outside adventures.

I’ve been a skilled labourer for more than 20 years and have been employed with At Home Services since September 2023 and have enjoyed working across multiple sites supporting the site teams. I’ve a keen eye for detail and a firm belief that a tidy site is a safe site. I like to ensure all sites are kept meticulously clean and tidy and ensure I work with the teams to understand their site needs. I am keen to continue learning all the various trades and skills whilst at work and am pleased to be able to support. Outside of work I spend time with my 2 sons and when I am not being a Dad I like to enjoy working out at the gym.

Haydon successfully completed his NSWRA Accreditation in 2025 and now is a fully qualified NSWRA Operative.
